ܘܫܪܝ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܠܡܒܢܐ ܒܝܬܐ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܒܐܘܪܫܠܡ ܒܛܘܪܐ ܕܐܡܘܪ̈ܝܐ ܒܕܘܟܬܐ ܕܐܬܩܢ ܕܘܝܕ ܐܒܘܗܝ ܒܐܕܪܐ ܕܙܒܢ ܡܢ ܐܪܢ ܝܒܘܣܝܐ
ybwsy' 'rn mn dzbn b'dr' 'bwhy dwyd d'thqn bdwkth' d'mwry' bTwr' b'wrshlm dmry' byth' lmbn' shlymwn wshry
Then Solomon began to build Yahweh’s house at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where Yahweh appeared to David his father, which he prepared in the place that David had appointed, on the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.

ܘܫܪܝ ܠܡܒܢܐ ܒܗ ܒܢܝܢܐ ܒܝܪܚܐ ܬܢܝܢܐ ܒܫܢܬ ܐܪܒܥ ܕܡܠܟܘܬܗ
dmlkwthh 'rbe bshnth thnyn' byrkh' bnyn' bh lmbn' wshry
He began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.

ܘܗܠܝܢ ܡܘܫ̈ܚܬܐ ܕܡܫܚ ܫܠܝܡܘܢ ܠܡܒܢܐ ܒܝܬܗ ܕܡܪܝܐ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܫܬܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܒܡܫܘܚܬܐ ܕܩܘܕܫܐ ܘܪܘܡܗ ܬܠܬܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܦܬܝܗ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ
'myn esryn wpthyh 'myn thlthyn wrwmh dqwdsh' bmshwkhth' 'myn shthyn dbyth' 'wrkh dmry' bythh lmbn' shlymwn dmshkh mwshkhth' whlyn
Now these are the foundations which Solomon laid for the building of God’s house: the length by cubits after the first measure was sixty cubits, and the width twenty cubits.

ܘܐܣܛܘܐ ܥܒܕ ܥܠ ܐܦܘ̈ܗܝ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܦܬܝܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܘܪܘܡܗ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܘܩܪܡܗ ܡܢ ܠܓܘ ܕܗܒܐ ܕܟܝܐ
dky' dhb' lgw mn wqrmh 'myn esryn wrwmh esryn 'myn dbyth' pthyh 'py el 'wrkh 'pwhy el ebd w'sTw'
The porch that was in front, its length, across the width of the house, was twenty cubits, and the height one hundred twenty; and he overlaid it within with pure gold.

ܘܒܝܬܐ ܪܒܐ ܛܠܠ ܒܩܝ̈ܣܐ ܕܩܛܪܩܐ ܘܩܪܡܗ ܠܫ̈ܡܝ ܒܝܬܐ ܕܗܒܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܨܪ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܕܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܘܕܫܘ̈ܫܢܐ
wdshwshn' ddql' dmwth' elwhy wtsr Tb' dhb' byth' lshmy wqrmh dqTrq' bqys' Tll rb' wbyth'
He made the larger room with a ceiling of cypress wood, which he overlaid with fine gold, and ornamented it with palm trees and chains.

ܘܩܒܥ ܒܗ ܒܒܝܬܐ ܛܒܥ̈ܐ ܛܒ̈ܐ ܠܬܫܒܘܚܬܐ ܘܩܪܡܗ ܠܟܠܗ ܕܗܒܐ ܛܒܐ
Tb' dhb' lklh wqrmh lthshbwkhth' Tb' Tbe' bbyth' bh wqbe
He decorated the house with precious stones for beauty. The gold was gold from Parvaim.

ܘܩܪܡܗ ܠܒܝܬܐ ܡܢ ܐܦܘ̈ܗܝ ܕܐܣܛܘܐ ܐܣܘ̈ܗܝ ܘܦܪ̈ܘܣܛܕܘܗܝ ܕܗܒܐ ܛܒܐ ܘܨܪ ܥܠܘܗܝ ܕܡܘܬܐ ܕܕܩ̈ܠܐ ܘܕܫܘ̈ܫܢܐ
wdshwshn' ddql' dmwth' elwhy wtsr Tb' dhb' wprwsTdwhy 'swhy d'sTw' 'pwhy mn lbyth' wqrmh
He also overlaid the house, the beams, the thresholds, its walls, and its doors with gold, and engraved cherubim on the walls.

ܘܥܒܕ ܒܝܬ ܩܕܘܫ ܩܘܕ̈ܫܐ ܐܘܪܟܗ ܥܠ ܐ̈ܦܝ ܦܬܝܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܘܩܪܡܗ ܕܗܒܐ ܛܒܐ ܡܢ ܫܬܡܐܐ ܟܟܪ̈ܝܢ
kkryn shthm'' mn Tb' dhb' wqrmh esryn 'myn dbyth' pthyh 'py el 'wrkh qwdsh' qdwsh byth webd
He made the most holy place. Its length, according to the width of the house, was twenty cubits, and its width twenty cubits; and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.

ܘܐܦ ܠܡܕܒܚܐ ܩܪܡ ܕܗܒܐ
dhb' qrm lmdbkh' w'p
The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. He overlaid the upper rooms with gold.

ܘܥܒܕ ܒܒܝܬ ܩܘܕܫܐ ܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܬܪܝܢ ܥܒ̇ܕܐ ܡܫܪܪܐ ܘܩܪܡ ܐܢܘܢ ܕܗܒܐ
dhb' 'nwn wqrm mshrr' ebd' thryn krwb' qwdsh' bbyth webd
In the most holy place he made two cherubim by carving, and they overlaid them with gold.

ܘܟܢ̈ܦܐ ܕܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܐܘܪܟܗܝܢ ܐܡ̈ܐ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܟܢܦܐ ܚܕܐ ܐܡ̈ܐ ܚܡܫ ܢܩܦܐ ܠܐܣܬܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܘܟܢܦܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܐܡ̈ܐ ܚܡܫ ܢܩܦܐ ܠܟܢܦܗ ܕܟܪܘܒܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ

The wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits long: the wing of the one was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.

ܘܟܢܦܗ ܕܟܪܘܒܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ ܐܡ̈ܐ ܚܡܫ ܢܩܦܐ ܠܐܣܬܗ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܘܟܢܦܐ ܐܚܪܬܐ ܐܡ̈ܐ ܚܡܫ ܕܒ̇ܩܐ ܠܟܢܦܗ ܕܟܪܘܒܐ ܐܚܪܢܐ
'khrn' dkrwb' lknph dbq' khmsh 'm' 'khrth' wknp' dbyth' l'sthh nqp' khmsh 'm' 'khrn' dkrwb' wknph
The wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house; and the other wing was five cubits, joining to the wing of the other cherub.

ܟܢܦܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܕܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܗܠܝܢ ܦܪ̈ܝܣܢ ܐܡ̈ܐ ܥܣܪܝܢ ܘܗܢܘܢ ܩ̇ܝܡܝܢ ܥܠ ܪ̈ܓܠܝܗܘܢ ܘܐܦܝ̈ܗܘܢ ܠܓܘ
lgw w'pyhwn rglyhwn el qymyn whnwn esryn 'm' prysn hlyn dkrwb' knpyhwn
The wings of these cherubim spread themselves out twenty cubits. They stood on their feet, and their faces were toward the house.

ܘܥܒܕ ܦܘܪܟܬܐ ܕܬܟܠܬܐ ܘܐܪܓܘܢܐ ܘܙܚܘܪܝܬܐ ܘܒܘܨܐ ܘܐܣܩ ܥܠܝܗ̇ ܟܪ̈ܘܒܐ ܘܣܡ ܒܓܘܗ̇ ܩܒܘܬܐ
qbwth' bgwh wsm krwb' elyh w'sq wbwts' wzkhwryth' w'rgwn' dthklth' pwrkth' webd
He made the veil of blue, purple, crimson, and fine linen, and ornamented it with cherubim.

ܘܥܒܕ ܩܕܡܘܗܝ ܕܒܝܬܐ ܪܒܐ ܐܣܛܘ̈ܢܐ ܬܪܝܢ ܐܘܪܟܗܘܢ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܬܡܢܥܣܪܐ ܘܚܬ̈ܐ ܕܥܠ ܪ̈ܫܝܗܘܢ ܚܡܫ ܐܡ̈ܝܢ ܪܘܡܗܝܢ
rwmhyn 'myn khmsh rshyhwn del wkhth' thmnesr' 'myn 'wrkhwn thryn 'sTwn' rb' dbyth' qdmwhy webd
Also he made before the house two pillars thirty-five cubits high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.

ܘܥܒܕ ܫܫ̈ܠܬܐ ܐܡ̈ܐ ܚܡܫܝܢ ܘܝܗܒ ܥܠ ܪܫܐ ܕܐܣܛܘ̈ܢܐ ܘܥܒܕ ܪ̈ܘܡܢܐ ܡܐܐ ܘܩܛܪ ܒܗܝܢ ܒܫܫ̈ܠܬܐ
bshshlth' bhyn wqTr m'' rwmn' webd d'sTwn' rsh' el wyhb khmshyn 'm' shshlth' webd
He made chains in the inner sanctuary, and put them on the tops of the pillars; and he made one hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.

ܘܐܩܝܡ ܐܣܛܘ̈ܢܐ ܬܪܝܢ ܩܕܡ ܗܝܟܠܐ ܚܕ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܘܚܕ ܡܢ ܣܡܠܐ ܘܩܪܐ ܫܡܗ ܕܗ̇ܘ ܕܐܩܝܡ ܡܢ ܝܡܝܢܐ ܝܟܝܢ ܘܫܡܗ ܕܗ̇ܘ ܕܡܢ ܣܡܠܐ ܒܥܙ
bez sml' dmn dhw wshmh ykyn ymyn' mn d'qym dhw shmh wqr' sml' mn wkhd ymyn' mn khd hykl' qdm thryn 'sTwn' w'qym
He set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
